Update!

Just a quick update to let you know there are still a few Christmas mini-sessions left.  If you want to sign up for one, just let me know!  I have been without Internet this weekend, but I have some recent sessions that I will be posting soon – a SUPER cute 2 yr old session, and a senior!  Check back soon!!!!

Now booking Christmas Mini-Sessions!

I am so excited to be announcing my first ever Christmas Mini-Sessions!  I am going to do 2 days of these at 2 different locations.  The sessions will cost $50 and last 15-20 minutes.  You will be shown 5-10 images in an online ordering gallery and included with the $50 session fee you may choose one of the following options:

1 – digital image to use for making your own cards/prints OR
25 – 4×6 prints of a single image (to use as card inserts or gifts) OR
25 – custom Christmas cards chosen from a set I will be offering (+$50)

*Additional prints/cards available for purchase also if you so desire

Here are the times/dates/locations for the mini-sessions:

Saturday, Nov. 7th (rain date – Nov 8th) – Downtown Huntsville (this can include Big Spring Park, Train Depot, area around Earlyworks, Historic streets, etc.)

If you would like to book one of these sessions, let me know what time and date you would like.  I will then email you a Paypal invoice for $50, which is due when you receive it, to hold your desired date/time.  I am only doing a limited number of these, so if you want one of these time slots please let me know asap!

If you have a specific place in mind and/or would prefer to do a full 1-2 hour session, you can also always book a regular session for $99.  And, if you book a full $99 session in October or November, you will also receive 25 custom Christmas cards FREE(chosen from the group of cards I offer)! Baby: An American Classic

This family welcomed their sweet new addition recently and what a cutie!  Oh my – he was just the sweetest baby!  He was awake when I got there and allowed me to get some awake shots and then went to sleep about halfway through and let us pose him however we wanted.  Who could ask for a better session than that!  Mom and dad had a couple requests, one of which was to get some shots on top of dad’s Mustang.  Totally their idea, and I love how they turned out – Classic!  He seemed to love being outdoors in the warm sun, so we got a few more in this cozy little basket.  He looked so comfy there!  Congratulations on your new little man – hope you like the images so far!  As always, 30 comments = free 8×10 ($30 value!), so leave them some love!

Christmas in July – Mini Session Giveaway!

I’ve been wanting to do a giveaway of some sort for a while now, so here it is!  WooHoo!  Believe it or not, I am starting to think about Christmas already – and more importantly for you – Christmas Mini Sessions!  I am definitely going to do a mini-session of some sort that will include pricing for either sets of Custom Christmas Cards, or a digital image (for you to use on your own Christmas Cards), or something like that.  These would probably be short 15-30 minute sessions at a specific location on a specific date.  But, since this will be the first time I am offering Holiday Mini-Sessions – I would love to hear your ideas on this!  Leave me a comment about any ideas you have for these sessions – it can be anything from where you think a good outdoor location would be for the sessions, what you would like to see included in the pricing, what dates you would like to see offered for the sessions, whether or not this is something you would be interested in, or feel free to just say hi!  I will number the comments as they come in, and then randomly pick one of the comments to win one of these free mini-sessions!  It’s that easy!  If you want an additional chance to win, post the following on your facebook or email it to all your friends and then come back and leave another comment letting me know you did it and you will get another entry! Baby Brother

I can’t say enough good things about this couple.  They are super cool, hip, fun and a joy to be around.  And, they are going to make fabulous parents.  Oh yeah – they also happen to be my baby brother and sister-in-law   But that’s besides the point…  They really are both great people that I am so proud of.  My brother is nine years younger than me, so I remember him as a baby and I can’t believe they are now having a baby of their own!  But I couldn’t be more excited for them and I cannot wait to meet my new little nephew!  Hope you like your pictures so far – I’ll have the rest for you soon!  Love you guys!!!

Totally Awesome

When we first scheduled this session, they told me that they really didn’t have any portraits together, and only a few from their wedding that they liked – so I was more than happy to try and get some fun shots of them!  And like most people, they told me they didn’t get pictures done often because they didn’t do well in pictures – um, yeah…whatever guys!  They did great at the shoot and I think their pictures turned out awesome!  Do people still say awesome?  I’m so behind the times…but they were, awesome that is!  I had a great time hanging out with you guys!  Hope you like the preview pics and I should have the rest done in a week or so!  Thanks for letting me capture your awesome-ness   Oh yeah, and leave them a comment  30=free 8×10!

Speedy Delivery!

I did this couple’s maternity shots a while back and I was so excited when they called and said their precious baby girl had arrived!  She was so excited to meet mom and dad that she arrived a couple weeks early in a very speedy delivery, and mom and dad were just as excited about her.  What a beautiful family – I am just so thrilled for you guys!  You are already great parents and you are going to have so much fun watching your little girl grow and learn new things everyday.  Cherish every moment…I know you’ve heard it before, but it goes by fast   Congratulations again and I hope you like your preview images!  Your gallery will be ready soon!  Be sure to leave a comment for them – 30 gets them a free 8×10 print!

Fun in the Sun!

I met up with this little cutie and his beautiful mama on what had to be one of the hottest days of the summer so far!  They were great though and went along with me all over the garden.  Little man is almost 2 years old, and was so sweet and curious about all different areas we came across.  I think his favorite though was the choo-choo!  He got excited when he heard the whistle – or anything that vaguely sounded like a train whistle.  It was the first thing we saw when entering the gardens, and we were sure to make a stop there on the way out too.  In the meantime, we had a great time pushing wagons, hunting for bugs and fish, and getting lots of cute photos!  Thanks so much for braving the heat with me – hope you like the preview pics and your gallery will be ready soon!  As with all my blog posts – 30 comments gets them a free 8×10 from their session, so let them know what you think!

Brotherly Love

This is the first time I have photographed brothers that were old enough to play together, and these two were so much fun and had lots of fun together too!  Mom and Dad were also great and up for anything, so we started with some family photos (gotta love a family tickle session!) and then moved on to the playground.  By the end of the session, I think we covered all the toys pretty well and got some really fun shots.  Thanks so much for letting me hang out with your family for the afternoon – I hope you love the preview pictures, and the rest are coming soon!
